Residential Garbage Collector

MaxSys is recruiting for several Residential Garbage Collectors in the waste management sector in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.
To support upcoming client needs, we are building a pool of garbage collectors. Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude could result in a permanent opportunity with benefits. If you have the ability to routinely lift and carry 50lbs and work in a variety of weather conditions, this may be a great opportunity for you.
You will:

• Ride on the back of a garbage truck and collect waste
• Ensure no waste is left behind at the pickup locations
• Monitor the area around the truck to keep operations safe for pedestrians and vehicles

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
• Reliable transportation as the worksite is not accessible via public transportation
• Must have your own CSA approved steel toed boots, safety vest and gloves
• Flexible to perform other general labour tasks as required

What's in it for you:
