Warehouse Associate - Wash Department

MaxSys is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate - Wash Department in the linen and textiles industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Our client is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support their Wash Alley department. This is a critical area for our clients’ operational excellence. In this position, you will be responsible for taking soiled linens, rugs/mats, and uniforms, loading them into industrial-grade wash machines, monitoring the machines, and ensuring the process is running smoothly. You will also ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
Responsibilities:

• Load soiled linens and various textiles into industrial-grade machinery
• Use of industrial-grade machinery
• Monitor the washes, prepare for upcoming washes
• Unload machinery as needed, bring items to other departments for next steps

Requirements:

• Must be accustomed to a fast-paced environment
• Must be precise and accurate, detail-oriented
• Must be comfortable with heavy manual labour
• Steel toe shoes/safety boots are a requirement
