Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Controls Specialist Industrial Electrician in the Engineering industry in Otterville, Ontario.
Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Controls Specialist Industrial Electrician. The Controls Specialist Industrial Electrician is responsible for continuously improving?automated systems?to increase?equipment efficiency in?high-throughput operations as well as preventative and reactive maintenance.
Total rewards:

$45.00 - $55.00 hourly

A typical day:

Provide preventative and reactive maintenance support to ensure equipment and facility reliability, safety, and production uptime
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLC, HMI, and robotic systems
Read and modify electrical schematics, support controls programming, and contribute to new engineering and automation projects
Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve process efficiency, reduce downtime and costs, and increase production capacity
Support maintenance and automation teams through effective communication, technical guidance, and successful on-time project execution

Successful candidates will have:

442A or 309A ticket
10 years of relevant experience related to industrial process automation
Ability to learn and retain knowledge regarding Robot programming and PLCs
Ability to prepare technical documentation such as shop drawings, operating manuals, training manuals, equipment reports, and employee assessments
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability/certified to operate Aerial Lift
Detail-oriented and good manual dexterity in use of mechanical machines and instruments
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
